A Little Rain Brings Life in the Magic house

This weekend Mr. HungryYogi and I lounged around, ate good healthy food, and exercised.

Just kidding.

We ate take out as we worked on our kitchen. All day. Sometimes until 1am.

However, it was worth it. So much progress was made and it looks amazing! I cannot wait to share the pictures. But mainly, I cannot wait for a functional kitchen. Ahhh. Using our stove and counters would be so lovely.

We worked all weekend but Sunday we took a little break to go out for dinner and drinks and ended up going kitchen shopping. When we came back home I noticed how beautiful our garden is growing.

One of my favorite songs ever is “Merry Happy” by Kate Nash. I love the line “You can grow flowers from where dirt used to be.” It got me through some bad breakups in the past. Now it just makes my soul happy. If you haven’t heard the song, give it a listen. I feel like it is a theme song for when I water my plants, for no other reason but that it makes me merry happy.

However, I can’t take responsibility for these lovely flowers.

And neither can Captain who just wants to drink water from all the locations except his water bowl.
