I found love in an unexpected place

I am not sure how I got to this point of loving yoga (or running) but I do. This week I did 6 days of yoga and tried my first hot yoga session. It was incredible.

I logged 18 miles of running this week and will be running 7 miles tomorrow… I have never run 7 miles in my life. Should be interesting.

I am addicted to yoga and am even practicing at home now.

You never know what you are capable of until you push and truly believe in yourself. I am learning that lesson more everyday and am grateful for it.

    1. Thanks Yara =) I was actually talking about you last night with some friends here (re-hashing some of our fondest memories). I am happy to hear that you have gotten into yoga as well! It’s incredible. I am totally down to try Pilates but there aren’t any classes offered here. I may need to buy some Pilates videos and go from there! Thanks for the suggestion! I hope all is well with you dear. =)

    1. Thanks Julie! The run went really well. I tried hydrating heavily before the run but I need to invest in a water belt thing so that I can hydrate during my runs and will need to also try that ULTIMA you mentioned. Unfortunately, I think I sprained my ankle yesterday! My right ankle is in some serious pain =(

        Definitely invest in running belt- it comes in handy when you wanna store something like your health card, electrolyte jelly beans, and of course water. I hope you feel better soon!

    1. I got into yoga originally from following the p90x yoga video. I really liked it but it is a little long and gets very repetitive so after completing the 90 days, I started checking out a yoga class on campus. The instructor is amazing and I became obsessed. I now practice every day. I think you will really like yoga Sammie. It’s a way to let go of your day and focus on yourself. I would recommend checking out some yoga videos online first and then checking out some classes (honestly it doesn’t matter which way you do it, just try it).
